It may take up to 5 days after a high risk exposure for a positive test to show up in a PCR or rapid COVID test. If you are concerned that you may have COVID-19 following an exposure, but are not currently showing symptoms, we recommend waiting 6 days after the exposure before taking a COVID test. If during this period you begin to exhibit symptoms, we recommend getting tested as soon as possible.
Both PCR and rapid COVID-19 tests are easy to schedule on ZoomCare.com and can usually be scheduled as a same-day visit.
